Provided a Prepaid Access service for a Wireless Carrier in Ecuador, South America. The service was the first to offer a prepaid Cell phone service to it’s users. The system was deployed in the two main cities of Quito and Guyaquil, with a centralized Database and Administration in Quito. Interface was with an Ericsson MTSO over R2MF signalling. The system handles 15,000 subscribers nationally.

Provided Comlink`s proprietary XAP platform for Telus, that has an IVR component that allows the user to choose method of payment. The platform handles Collect, Third Party, Calling Card and Credit Card Calls. It also converts some Calling card calls to Billed to Third Party calls and processes credit card calls including the authorization of the credit cards in real time. The platform handles the calls over ISDN PRIs and acts as a verification and completion system for users that require alternate billing methods for their calls.

Provided TELUS with Comlink`s IP to SS7 Intelligent Services Platform. The platform provides IP based access to SS7 based LIDB Validation. The platform allows for a variety of IP based inputs such as Encrypted TCP/IP Packets, HTTPS FORM POST and XML over HTTPS. The platform handles all protocol conversions between the IP and SS7 systems. It also performs Fraud protection, packet routing, and processing of complex queries(two or more queries requiring a single answer). Allows for 3 tiers of customer for billing and reporting purposes. The platform currently can handle 25 transactions per second sustained over a 72 hour period and is very scalable.

Provided Cable and Wireless (Caribbean) with Comlink’s Prepaid Internet Access Platform that is deployed over 13 islands in the Caribbean. The platform has a centralized gateway architecture that allows for multiple hotspot locations to be handle from a single gateway. The system is scalable by adding more gateways. Each gateway has a theoretical Class – B IP space that it manages. The platform also has features such as Wall Gardening with dynamic page rendering per hotspot location. The end user experience is almost zero configuration. Payment is accepted via credit cards (with real time, authorization and settlement) or via prepaid cards. End user can top up their cards using a credit card. The database is centrally located for all the islands allowing an end user to purchase a card on one island and use it on any of the other islands.

Provided Canada's largest telco with a Billing platform to bill for Wireless Access Services. The system has three levels for billing, which are, Canada's largest telco, Customer and End User. The data is imported via Excel spread sheets into the system. A bill is automatically created once a month as per the billing cycle for the Customer and provided to Canada's largest telco in their proprietary format to be processed by them. Access to the system is via a secure HTTPS based web interface. Canada's largest telco and Customer can access and view their profile and accounts along with their respective bills, post charges. top
